Growing the Park: Celebrate 5!

Come celebrate the Orange County Great Park’s fifth anniversary on Saturday, July 10, 2010 from 3:00 pm to 9:30pm. This year’s annual “Growing the Park” event showcases its heritage and development through fun and exciting activities for the entire family. Come explore our five event zones: the Back 40, Great Park Gallery, The Runway, Sky’s the Limit, and The Outfield.

Activities will include pony rides, live music, art activities, vintage aircraft and military displays, and a peek into the future of the Great Park. Visitors will also be thrilled by the expanded aerial performance schedule and a spectacular laser light show finale!

Congo River, it is one of the original rides. I got to see the progress as it was being built as well as going on it opening day. I love the speed, the bumps and turns as well being on the innertube and having a choice of single or double. I took my now 5 year old daughter on it last year and she loved it.
